Derrick joined Safetech in 2017 as an Engineer in Training. Since then, his hard-work and dedication has allowed him to reach the P.Eng designation. Mr. Trim is currently leading in the oil and emergency spills, providing 24/7 on-call service to our insurance and commercial vehicle clients. The work is carried out using Ontario Regulation 153/04 (as amended) as a guideline and Mr. Trim corresponds with the Spills Action Centre (SAC), Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP), municipalities, Ministry of Transportation, OPP, Fire Fighters and various emergency service contractors. Derrick and his team are vigilante in carrying out excavation, quality assurance and control for sample collection, interpretation of results and constant communication with our clients. 

Derrick manages our other projects, such as soil and groundwater investigations, Phase I/One Environmental Site Assessments, Phase II/Two Environmental Site Assessments and waste disposal projects in accordance with Ontario Regulation 347 and Ontario Regulation 558/00.
